UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

To maintain and build on its continuing success, the Scout Group is seeking to strengthen its business management committee by appointing additional members.

The Group, which is one of the largest in North of Scotland, has a very sound financial base, is a Registered Charity and operates from a large purpose built Scout Centre in Cults.  The youth membership is increasing and is currently about 140, aged from 6-25years

The Group Executive Committee, which meets about 4 times a year, is responsible for business management, including management of Group finances; provision of insurance; maintenance of property and equipment; supporting adult recruitment; fundraising activities; and promoting and developing Scouting in the local area.

No special qualifications are needed, just sound common sense. Committee members must be aged 18 years or over and eligible for Charity Trustee Status.  Some Committee roles require satisfactory PVG clearance.
