Beaver Scouts (6-8)

What are Beaver Scouts?

Beaver Scouts, open to boys and girls, are our youngest members. They meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities. Beaver Scouts follow a progressive programme helping them earn challenge and activity badges, leading to the top award the Chief Scout's Bronze Award.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so itís a real adventure for them

Where and when do we meet?

There are 2 Beaver "Colonies" in the Scout Group. One meets on Mondays and the other on Wednesdays, both from 5.30pm to 6.30pm in the Scout Centre during school term time.

Uniform Requirements

Beaver Scouts wear a turquoise sweatshirt, with a group scarf (also known as a necker) and a maroon woggle.
